Changes to routine blood test appointments

Please be advised we are now holding Phlebotomy Clinics for patients requiring a blood test. These appointments will be 5 minutes only. We ask all patients to arrive promptly and be aware the nurse will not be able to accommodate requests for any other service.

Late arrivals may be asked to rebook to avoid disruption to our other patients.

Alternative phlebotomy clinics are held at:

  • Hove Polyclinic. This service is open Monday - Friday from 8.00am - 4.00pm for persons over 16 years of age. Booking is by appointment, by calling 01273 265580 or via email SC-TR.phlebotomybrightonhove@nhs.net. Please include your name, date of birth, and available hours to attend an appointment. We can provide you with the blood test form to take with you.
  • Community Diagnostic Hub, Falmer. This is by referral, which the reception team can arrange
  • Extended Access Service, Weekend Clinics. These clinics are held at a number of local GP practices in the city on a Saturday and Sunday. The reception team can arrange the appointment for you
